The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) requires all CMRAs to follow specific regulations, including submitting Form 1583 (Application for Delivery of Mail Through Agent) for all mail scanning and virtual office clients. Form 1583 authorizes your CMRA to accept mail on your behalf, helps verify your identity, and protects your business from mail fraud.

Does USPS Form 1583 need to be notarized?

The Postal Service does require Form 1583 to be notarized. When you hire us, we can authenticate the form on your behalf. There is no burden on you.

I am a non-US resident. Can I hire a CMRA?

Yes, a non-US resident can hire a CMRA as long as they meet the ID requirements. Non-US addresses are acceptable.
